Description
Our client are one of the market leaders in the distribution of beers, wines and all other associated products to pubs, clubs and retail establishments and we are currently seeking a Warehouse Shift Manager to join their operation in Duston.
The successful applicants will need experience in a similar role and due to the nature of the business will be required to support rotating shifts.
The role involves:
  • Managing and developing team members
  • Proactive and constructive approach to grievance and disciplinary matters
  • Effective planning and utilisation of Warehouse resources
  • Coordinating and prioritising activity across shifts
  • Management of Health & Safety and site rules and regulations
  • Review operational procedures and identify any areas for improvement
  • Monitoring and ensuring KPI's are met
  • Responsibility for MHE costs and control

Applicants should have good knowledge of distribution and warehouse services with the ability to work under pressure and within tight deadlines.

Our client is a market leader for the supply and distribution of drinks and associated services to retail outlets across the UK.

We are currently recruiting for warehouse operatives who hold a current RTITB Counter Balance licence to be responsible for the following:

Off load products
Book in stock, identify issues and take appropriate action
Mechanically load dray vehicles
Meet with all site Health & Safety

Successful individuals will be required to work 5 days out of 7 on a shift basis.
